David Henderson was an Islanders wide receiver. On Monday, his family told doctors to remove life support.
The Barons, in conjunction with Harrah's Reno Plaza, will accept Islanders-Barons tickets as entry into the Plaza Concert Series from 9-11 p.m. today. On Sunday, from 1-5 p.m., the Barons will hold a fan-appreciation picnic at Paradise Park.
Donations to help assist the Henderson family with hospital and funeral costs will be accepted at both events.
