The 2011 CIFL playoffs are set to begin with defending league champion and regular season champion Cincinnati hosts Chicago on June 3 and Marion hosts Dayton on June 6.
Cincinnati vs. Chicago - Friday, June 3rd - 8pm
Cincinnati Gardens - Cincinnati, Ohio
Cincinnati finished the season at 10-0 and is the regular season champion, hosts Chicago, who finished the regular season at 5-5. Chicago played an up and down regular season starting out 0-2, then reeled off two consecutive victories and then finished the season 3-3. Cincinnati played a consistent regular season scoring an average of 50 points per game.
In league stats this year, Cincinnati was first in offensive scoring with 64 touchdowns, who scored 434 points, with 54.2 points per game. The Commandos also led the league in giving up just 19 touchdowns, for an average of 17.2 points per game. The also led the league in total offense with an average of 244 yards of offense while giving up just 91 yards per game. Meanwhile, Chicago was fifth in the scoring offense this year averaging 28 points per game while finishing fourth on defense giving up 32 points per game. Marion vs. Dayton - Monday, June 6th - 7:45pm

Marion will look to bounce back after their season ending loss to Cincinnati that cost Marion the regular season championship. Dayton, which suffered a loss to Marion in their final game, seek to defeat the Blue Racers.
For the year, Marion’s offense was ranked second in the league behind Cincinnati. Marion averaged 48 points per game. The Blue Racers were second in total offense with 163 yards per game. The Blue Racers also were ranked second in defensive scoring giving up 18 points per game but third in overall defense, giving up just 142 yards.
Dayton meanwhile finished fourth offensive scoring for the year with 32 points per game, while finish fourth in overall offense with 141 yards per game. On defense, Dayton was third giving up 29 points a game, while second in total defense with giving up 138 total yards.
Marion is led on offense by Josh Harris, who is second in the league in passing, while he is fourth in the league rushing. Dayton is led by Daniel Stover at quarterback while Stover is also their top rusher.
The Blue Racers are led on defense by Bryceson Lawrence. Dayton is led defensively by James Spikes.
The winners of this weekends games play June 11 in the championship game at the highest remaining seed.
