the Bandits are the clear favorite again.
I'm hearing good things out of CB and Tulsa. Haven't heard much from the rest.
My head says CB @ SC again in the title game with the Bandits winning it.
My heart says SC @ CB with the Express winning it!!!
Go Express!

Not so fast C4FL!!!! The team in Tulsa, OK will be VERY GOOD. It just depends on how well they gel together. I don't think it will be as clear cut as you think. The state of Oklahoma has some of the best undiscovered talent in the country. Watch out for those guys for sure...As I predicted before, they have some former AFL/AF2 players also former D1 players who will adjust very well to the indoor rules and be good due to experience. I can't wait for the OK vs. SC matchup

I can't wait for the OK vs. SC matchup I totally agree with you adoneatine. There is a lot of talent on their pre-season roster, and plenty of indoor/arena experience. I see the regular season panning out this way: 1. Oklahoma Defenders (APFL regular season best record and APFL Champs) 2. Sioux City Bandits 3. Council Bluffs Express 4. Mid-Missouri Outlaws 5. Kansas Koyotes 6. Cheyenne Warriors 7. Colorado Lightning 8. Springfield Wolfpack

what do you think I said? I said I heard good things about both teams.
SC is the champ until proven otherwise.

Just having talent does not a team make.
If the rumors I am hearing are true, SC will be 12-0. If not then they will be 12-0. ;D

Sorry C4FL, I just meant that I don't think it will be a runaway for SC this year, just my opinion. I agree though, until dethroned SC is the current champ. I definitely think they will more than likely pay the players and staff more than any other team in the league. Let's face it, they never had (to my knowledge) any problems operating with an overinflated IFL budget, so it's alot easier to operate in a league with MUCH less operation expenses and no "set" rules on pay for a minimum. The games are played on the field, though, and I have to say that in many cases last year, SC proved to be the more dominant team in its contests.

The Bandits will never over pay someone its been a proven fact regardless of what league they are in.I would guarantee Tulsa will if not already is in violation of the 90 mile rule

BLZ, I never personally insinuated that the Bandits will overpay any players. I simply said that they are probably the most financially stable team in the league right now. So the 200/game is a piece of cake to ownership there. Also, EVERY player so far on the OK Defenders roster so far is definitely either from Tulsa, or went to college near Tulsa as far as I know. As I previously stated on an earlier post, there is so much undiscovered talent in that area it is ridiculous. The Talons were just too foolish to grasp that concept and kept bringing in outside people when they could have had a great team filled with primarily local talent and had success. Additionally, over the last 10 to 15 years, the majority of the high school state champions in Oklahoma came from either Tulsa Union High or Jenks High which is still in the Tulsa Metro area. DOn't sleep on Oklahoma

1. Oklahoma Defenders (I have to agree on Tulsa area talent). 2. Sioux City Bandits (Still good, but there's usually a catch-up factor in the second season) 3. Council Bluffs Express (Still some questions here, if they are Blackhawks 2.0 (in the sense that they've been together for a while, they know what's going on). 4. Mid-Missouri Outlaws (always a threat if you're not careful). 5. Springfield Wolfpack (took a step backwards last year, but had been steadily improving before then). 6. Kansas Koyotes (May have lost their mojo). n. Cheyenne Warriors a. Colorado Lightning (don't know enough about either of these two expansion teams to know how to rate them).

I have to agree on those predictions, however, hopefully Kansas can bounce back this year. They have a VERY GOOD coach in Coach Biladeau, who has coached in the AFL and af2 in the past 10 years or so. Also, I think Cheyenne team will do well. The receiver Cassimier was an IFL standout a few years ago, and the offense should be pretty good. I don't know much about the defense though...Also, like you, I don't really know anything about the Colorado team. Is this an outdoor team making the transition to indoor??? I guess only time will tell. In all, I think we all can look forward to an exciting, more competitive year and not another runaway like last season.

Sioux City is going to be the Sioux Falls of the APFL once more. this is easily the most likely scenario, though I hope it doesn't turn out that way.
