January 14, 2011 Carrollton- The Dallas American, an Indoor football team has been in training for the 2011 Season. Practices have been hard and heavy. Right now the Americans are still needing to fill out the roster. " I'd like to have more depth, but if this is what we got, I am good with it." says head coach John Simpson. The team has to be ready this season for the unexpected. The team is playing as a independent, which means it will play against leagues of other teams. With the right record it could go to a independent bowl game against another team thats top notch. All in all The Americans are shooting for top." We have talked top Indoor leagues across the country for challenges, and I think we are ready for them" says Will Martin of the Front Office. The Americans are curently working on the schedule and will be out shortly.
